New 2025 LSCA Promotion

The LSCA Executive Committee has authorized a new shooter promotion for 2025.  This promotion will take place during the first six months of 2025.  

THE 2025 GREAT LSCA VEST GIVEAWAY

1.  The prize will be a new LSCA logo shooting vest.

2.  Each time a shooters enters a Registered LSCA sporting clays event, he/she will earn one chance for a prize.  For example, at the Wilderness Gun Club shoot this week there are 8 possible events at this shoot.  If you shoot all 8 you will have 8 chances to win in your Concurrent category -- if you shoot just 2 events, you will have 2 chances.   The more events you shoot the better the chance to win.  After the last Registered shoot in June 2025, a random draw will be conducted by Concurrent categories.  At that time winners and alternates will be named.  

3.  Prizes will be given to the winner in each CONCURRENT category (Sub Junior to Legacy).   Note:  We will draw alternates to the winners by category in the event the winner does not want a shooting vest.  The alternate will be awarded the vest.  

4. Scott Doucet will post the results of each shoot on the LSCA website.   Visit www.lasportingclays.com to view your status.

Thank you for your Service

I want to take this opportunity to thank Sera Russell for his long service to the LSCA.  Besides being a past president of the LSCA, Sera served as the LSCA's legal Agent of Service for the Louisiana Secretary of State's requirement.  Sera has retired and moved to Texas to be with his grandchildren.  Thank you Sera.  

The Executive Committee has recruited Danny Vidrine (Baton Rouge) to be our new Agent of Service.  Thank you Danny.

Update on LSCA Raffle

Gary Littlefield is still wading through the red tape to set up our 2025 LSCA Gun Raffle.  Hopefully, soon we will be ready to offer the raffle.  The proceeds will be used to further the LSCA's goals to promote the sport of Sporting Clays in Louisiana.  

Final Note

The LSCA had a successful 2024 and we are looking forward to a busy 2025.  The LSCA has a strong management team and plans to make 2025 another great year.  Thank you Gary, John, Bert, Dan and Brian (our Executive Committee).
