Note: The April 6th Registered Shoot a Red Chute has been cancelled. The LSCA is proud to have Red Chute Gun Club as a member of the Association. However, we must remember that the Club in located on a very active Air Force Base and, as such, certain procedures must be followed. Dale Robison, Gun Club Manager (dale.robison.1@us.af,mil 318-456-4582) asked me to remind our shooters.
"He needs the participants to get on the entry list for the Registered Shoot, for this list he needs your full SSN, Full Name, DL# and DOB. He needs this information at least 10 days before the shoot in order to turn the list over to the USAF Security Police for background checks."
Congratulations
Congratulations are in order for Covey Rise for their Good Friday Shoot. Over 200 (205) people participated in this event. What is significant about this event is that in 2024 there will be an estimated 2,300 NSCA events in the USA. Of which there will be an estimated 90 events with over 200 participants. Covey Rise is now operating in the "elite 90" group. Congratulations, Jimbo and crew.
LSCA Website
Vice President John Ballance is working on updating the LSCA website. We anticipate the updates will be complete by the end of April 2024. Thanks John.
NSCA Rule Changes
Read all about the new NSCA Rule Changes on the NSCA website. Rules for squad size, rotations and shooter classifications, etc. have changed. The NSCA website does a great job of explaining the rule changes.
