Note: Spell Check was fighting me all the way when I was inputting the names.  Hopefully, I spelled everyone's name correctly.  Thank you Scott Doucet for compiling the data.  (Lots of detail goes into gathering this data.  Scott has to access each Club's Scorechaser account and download the data.)

Greenbacks & Buckles Race

The Race is from June to December 2024.  All targets broken at LSCA shoots during this time period (including targets only) will be added up and the top person in each Class & Concurrent will win either cash or a trophy buckle.  (One prize per person, so if a person wins the Class & Concurrent his/her award will be in the Class and the second person in the Concurrent will be the winner.)  

NSCA National Delegate Voting 

for Louisiana Representation

All LSCA members received an email ballot to vote for the 4 Louisiana National Delegates.   In Louisiana, our National Delegate is a working position.  The Delegate is a member of the LSCA Executive Committee and is expected to actively participate in the running of the Association.  

The following 5 people have agreed to run for Louisiana's 4 Delegate Positions.

We want to thank these individuals for their service to the LSCA.  There is an incredible amount of administrative detail involved with the day to day business of the Association from tax returns to establishing the yearly Shoot Schedule.  All of this is accomplished with volunteer service.  

Safety

The LSCA can not stress Safety Enough.  Please:

1.   Always Point your shotgun  in a safe direction (which is away from people.)

2.  Always have an unloaded shotgun until you are in the shooting stand.

3.  Always keep your finger off the trigger until you are ready to shoot.

4.  Always be on the lookout for unsafe actions and diplomatically correct the situation.  

Safety is everyone's responsibility.  

Final

With the intense heat of the Summer, please be aware to hydrate properly.  Start drinking water before the shoot to get a jump start on hydration.  If you feel like the heat is getting to you, stop and cool off.  

I hope everyone has a safe and fun Summer.
